Licensing for CUCME IP Phones - Clarification

Dear Folks,

I am proposing a client for CUCME router that support 100 phones . Now my concern is while ordering phones should we order phone with licenses or is it already included in the CUCME that supports 100 phones.

You will need to order the licenses with your CCME. Depending on which bundle you purchased you will need to add additional licenses. if you have the 2900 ISR routers they come with a 25 seat license. Then you need to add 75 more seat licenses..

The part number you need is

FL-CME-SRST-25 ( you will need 3 of this) to make upto 75 seats.

Hi

Just to clarify, you need both CUCME AND phone licenses.

The CUCME license is the "server" side license. As well as this, you also need a license for each handset - the "client" side license.

So to clarify, to order every IP phone, there should be  user licenses to be purchased separately .     

1. is it applicable for 6900 phones, as i dont see it in the pricing , only 7900 phones is avaialble..

can you please advise.

Correct. Every IP phone requires a license including 6921s.
