Locale Update 6921

Hi There,

to upgrade a firmware, I put all files in the remote router's flash, set the TFTP in the phones to the local router so it's possible to upgrade..and it worked..

but in the log it does try to find the Portugal locale..

004759: Nov  8 19:23:33.170: TFTP: Looking for SCCP69xx.9-2-4-3.loads

004760: Nov  8 19:23:33.170: TFTP: Opened flash:SCCP69xx.9-2-4-3.loads, fd 0, size 489 for process 91

004761: Nov  8 19:23:33.178: TFTP: Finished flash:SCCP69xx.9-2-4-3.loads, time 00:00:00 for process 91

004762: Nov  8 19:23:33.258: TFTP: Looking for Portuguese_Portugal/rtl-sccp.jar

I don't know where I can find this file... any help ?

After this upgrade, I'll set the TFTP server back again to the CUCM cluster

Thanks.

Andrei.

Hi,

Please refer to the CME guide, particularly the section titled Using the Locale Installer in CME 7.0.1 or later. You need to download the full local tar files for 9.1 located below and extract the file locally on your pc. There are a number of individual country specific tar files for specific localisation, you simply need to upload the individual tar file of your choice to flash, there is no specific requirement to extract the files to flash. Follow the guideline for configuring cnf-files per phone and set user-defined locale, these are extract to the system/its for you now:

http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=277641082&flowid=5337&softwareid=282897001&release=9.1&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

Perfect !

I found the file rtl-sccp.jar in the zip file, then I configured the router:

# show run

tftp-server flash:Portuguese_Portugal/rtl-sccp.jar

# show flash

30      120119 Nov 8 2012 19:30:48 -03:00 Portuguese_Portugal/rtl-sccp.jar

Thanks !

Andrei.
