I experienced power failure in my office which made all my servres to shutdown and come up again. After this event I could no longer log on to the callmanager web interface with the username and password. I can log on to the command line interface but not the web interface.
The log on page for the web interface displays but after entering the username and password (which is the same with the CLI) it will not log me on.
I also noticed a message ''cisco db stopped'' from the cli.
what could be the course and solution to this issue.

Hi
Can you try starting the 'A Cisco DB' service from the CLI? Use 'utils service start A Cisco DB' to do so. Try logging in again.
What error do you get when you try logging in to the Web GUI?

It's also a good idea to run the recovery disk just to be safe even though the OS didn't tell you to when it booted back up. Are your servers connected to an uninterruptible power support (UPS)?

Thanks for the suggestions.I will try the command and get revert back. AS for error message the, the web GUI did not retun any error message when i try logging on. It simply return the log on page over and over.

I have issued the command 'utils services start A Cisco DB' on the CLI but it returned the message
component is not running
A Cisco DB[NOTRUNNING]
As for the Web GUI, it does not return any error message.. it keeps on prompting for user name and password over and over again..
What could be the next step?

I've had the same problem.. opened a tac.
when you login via CLI, do you see any errors pop up? Something like 'The /common file system is mounted read only.'
