Logging received Calls at phones (third party sip)

Hi,

following scenario: User A in PSTN calls user B at a 7970 IP Phone registered with CUCM 8.6.2

User B transfer the call sucessfully to user C to a 7975.

User C seeing the original calling party (user A) at the display if they connected.

After end the call the user C browse through the received calls log at his phone.

The user see the last call with the original calling party (user A) in the list.

If he press the softkey "details", the entry of the list is extended with the transfering party number (user B). So he sees two numbers from this one received call. Thats all ok.

But now user C get an Third Party SIP phone instead the 7975. User A calls B, B transfer to C and user C seeing user A's number while it ringing and while A and C connected (like above). After end the call in Third Party SIP CLient only the transfer party number (User B) is in the received calls list.

The SIP client here is a polycom DECT phone.

I tested the same with PhonerLite PC client. There at the sip client only user B as trasnfer party is displaying.

Is there a way to configure CUCM so, that always the original calling party number is displayed and not the transfering number in any way or is this a problem of the sip client vendor?

CUCM has no control over behavior of third-party phones.
