Matched Dial-peer

Hi,

I am calling 7318 and I have two dial-peers

dial-peer voice 71000 voip
corlist outgoing Internal
description Outgoing Calls to All Sites
destination-pattern [1-8]...$
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:172.16.35.23
dtmf-relay rtp-nte

!
dial-peer voice 189 voip
description MWI Indicators
destination-pattern 731[8,9]
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:172.18.72.4
codec g711ulaw

I need when I Call 7318 it should hits dial-peer voice 189, everytime it hits dial-peer voice 71000

what i know it should match long matched digits not least

What happens when you change destination-pattern 731[8,9] by destination-pattern 731[8,9]$

Can you try  destination-pattern 731[89] instead of

destination-pattern 731[8,9]

Hi,

try using destination-pattern 731[89] as suggested by others here. I don't know whether that will help because i have seen this issue on newer IOS in which 2 voip dial-peers have this issue. You will need preference command under the dial-peers to match your need.

I found the problem, it was matching the dial-peer but couldn't go out I did that using "csim start 7318" it's MWI ON number and because i didn't enable the notification in CUE it was not going and jump to the other dial-peer 71000

once i enabled it; it work perfectly.
