max-ephone (sccp) and max-pool (sip) are cumilative in CME?

in the 28xx CME

max-ephone = 24   (# of sccp phones can be registered)

now I have 24-ephones?

I want to register more phones?

Can I use sip phones instaed of SCCP

Again max # of phones registered (sccp+sip) is 24?

It's not a good idea because SIP phones do not work good as SCCP ones, suffer of many limitations and the integration is poor.

Just upgrade to a bigger router.

However if you have 2801, it supports 30 phones, not 24.
