Max Phones Exceeded

I have a CME with a 100 phones Permanent licence i am only using 38

I registered one SCP phone and then one of the other phones got the message "Max Phones Exceeded" on the screen.

The Max ephone and Ephone Dn is set to the top -allowed by the CME- which is 138 and 600 respectively.

the "show ephone" output for that specific phone is showing the "DECEASED" status

Do you guys know why this could be happening?

Are you using that device for something else besides CME??

Everything that you do in the ISR requires resources, if you're already using that ISR for a lot of things, you might not have enough resources for everything.

Hi Jaime!

I am using a Cisco Configuration Assistant to check the device's Health, and it's just fine.

Besides, i am just using it for Telephony purposes

Hi,

Please share the output of show license detail cme-srst, show version along with the running configuration.

Aseem

Firstable, i made a mistake reading the license information before i think. it's not 100 users it's 30 users.

show license detail cme-srst:

"name#show license detail cme-srst % Error: No license for cme-srst found - License feature not found"

Then it means you do not have sufficient licenses.

Well here's the weird thing:

i have licenses for 30 devices and check this out:

show ephone | count ephone

Number of lines which match regexp = 30

One of the Ephone is DECEASED:

ephone-42[41] Mac: ****.****.**** TCP socket:[-1] activeLine:0 whisperLine:0 DECEASED

mediaActive:0 whisper_mediaActive:0 startMedia:0 offhook:0 ringing:0 reset:0 reset_sent:0 paging 0 debug:0 caps:12

IP:***.***.***.*** * 1024 SPA502G  keepalive 42 max_line 1 available_line 1

using default button layout

button-layout 1: line button 1: cw:1 ccw:(0 0)

  dn 42 number *** CH1   DOWN         CH2   DOWN

Preferred Codec: g711ulaw

Lpcor Type: none Username: ***** Password: ****

Just 29 are Registered:

hostname#show ephone registered | count ephone

Number of lines which match regexp = 29

This is what i tried:

i deleted the ephone dn and the ephone # it had before, created a new one with the same MAC address and same number.... and did the same process all over again and created a new one again with a different number and same MAC
