Thank u Sir but please, explain to me the difference between SRST Phone and CME Phone ?
12-09-2015 03:48 AM
There is no difference between SRST phones or CME phones, infact there is no such terminology as well. SRST and CME are just two different modes in which a router can act, in CME phones are registered to CME from the start whereas in SRST, phones are actually registered to CM and in case the connectivity to the CM is lost then the IP Phones can register to their local router if configured for SRST

I agree with u but my question is shown on the following table. What does mean 730 and 250* ?!!!
SRST phone | CME Phone | |
Cisco 3925 | 730 | 250* |
Thanks.

What this means is that you can have 730 phones registered in SRST mode and in CME mode, you can only register 250 phones.

I'm not sure but logically it seems that if you use telephony mode (CME) for SRST, maximum capacity is defined as CME phone however in case of call-manager-fallback mode, capacity is different which is referred as SRST phone.
