While I'm sure you are aware, MediaSense is EoL: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/customer-collaboration/mediasense/eos-eol-notice-c51-738857.html

In terms of number of devices ABLE TO BE RECORDED, its not really a limitation of mediasense. You can either record via BiB in CUCM or via Network Span. Then you have a storage limitation which really isn't quantifiable in terms of devices recorded.

In terms of concurrency; please look at the virtualization chart here: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/uc_system/virtualization/virtualization-cisco-mediasense.html

That number is probably around 20-30 simultaneous calls.

Thanks,

Ryan

let me see if I understood there is no limitation by devices, and it may be to have 20 to 30 simultaneous calls is this?
Is there any document that says this?

Re: Maximum phones for recording using cisco mediasense

Cisco Mediasense t is licensed by the number of concurrent recordings. So the support of phones are not coming into picture here.

When it comes to Maximum Session Duration, MediaSense can record calls that are up to eight hours in duration. So you have to plan your storage accordingly. That depends on multiple factors such as the mix of codecs in use, the number of calls, the call arrival rate, duration, and duty cycle; and the retention period desired.
You can learn more about that from the design guide (Page 99)
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/mediasense/115/Design_Guide/CUMS_BK_MC36D963_00_mediasense-srnd_115.pdf

The concurrent calls depends on the Disk requirements. For a 7vCPU VM configuration, the docwiki says 15+10 queued. (A audio call between two end points equals two Audio-Weight Media Streams), so its 30.

Hope this Helps
