Reviewing the upgrade requirements for UCCX 8.5, since upgrading re-formats the hard drive, would like to purchase additional hard drives for MCS 7825-I4 CCX1 (HDD-7825-I4-250=) server. The problem is that the Cisco MCS server, the equivalent IBM x3250-M2 server, and associated hard drive are EOS. What are my options for ordering additional hard drives for this server?
1. Can I order any 250G hard drive, as long as it meets the requirements - 250GB 7200 RPM 3.5" Simple-Swap SATA?
2. Can I order any size hard drive(500G) as long as it meets the requirements - 7200 RPM 3.5" Simple-Swap SATA?
3. Is there some check in the code for UCCX that checks the drive size?
Thanks

Hi Dvaggalis,
As far as I know "Yes", UCCX install checks and validates the HDD size as part of the install.
I would request you to please open a case with Worldwide Partner Helpline (PH) for assistance.
Please use www.cisco.com/go/ph to do so.
PH team will be definetely able to assist you on this query.
Hope it helps.
