HI, I need to know how many devices the MCS 7835 i3 server supports. I know it supports up to 2500 Phones, but can't seem to find any info on how many devices in total it supports?

Thanx

Warren

Hi Warren,

I have just captured few more SRND of CUCM 8.5.You can also refer SRND for more details.

a. Cisco MCS 7835 I3 server supports 2,500 CTI connections per server or 10,000 connections per cluster.

b. An MCS-7835 cluster can support up to 1100 trunks.

c. Maximum of 10,000 mobility-enabled users per cluster with Cisco MCS-7835

d. 10,000 CTI connections per Unified CM cluster with Cisco MCS 7835I3

e. Configure maximum of 500 locations per cluster and 600 MGCP devices.

Hi Aman

I have a Cluster with 4 servers only 3 used for Call processing. The 3 in question have an average of 3500 devices registered to them. The client has approx 3200 phones registred in their cluster.

The 2500 Phone limit per server, that's in the SRND docs, does this include or exclude the CTI ports, Route points, MTP's registered etc per server?

Hi Warren,

The CTI ports , RP MTPs does not include in phone limit.

I was trying to find in SRND but could not find. I will look for a DOC and let u know.
