Hi folks,
I have two questions regarding firmware updates for MCS servers...
Does anyone knows, when cisco will release a new firmware update cd? The actual image at cco downloads is now older than a year.
Is it risky to use the latest updates from IBM website for this mcs machines?
...i am pointed to this theme, because the IMM firmware at latest fwucd is not realy stable.
thanks a lot for your hints.
greetings, chris

Hi community,
at 24th june 2013, Cisco released the new Firmware Update Utility 3.7(1) for IBM MCS 7825-I3, MCS 7828-I3, MCS 7816-I4, MCS 7825-I4, MCS 7828-I4, MCS 7816-I5, MCS 7825-I5, MCS 7828-I5, MCS 7835-I2, MCS 7845-I2, MCS 7835-I3, MCS 7845-I3 Cisco MCS Servers. Downloadable at cisco.com with your cco-account.
Nice after a long time and just some days too late for us, because these updates would be installed automatically, if you upgrade to CUCM or UnityConnection 9.x at these MCS-servers.
So plan some additional hours for the upgrade, because IMM-firmware update takes some time!!
Greetings, Chris
