Hello community,
Does anyone know if it is possible to use a Tunnel interface as a source for the media resourcesregistration to UCM 7.1(5)? I know that it is not possible with vrf interfaces for example. Apparently that is the case for Tunnel interfaces but i'm not sure. Here is the config:
interface Tunnel10
bandwidth 512
ip address 192.168.10.75 255.255.255.0
no ip redirects
no ip unreachables
no ip proxy-arp
ip mtu 1400
ip nbar protocol-discovery
ip flow ingress
ip flow egress
ip nhrp authentication arco_vpn
ip nhrp map 192.168.10.100 x.y.z.195
ip nhrp map multicast x.y.z.195
ip nhrp network-id 99
ip nhrp holdtime 300
ip nhrp nhs 192.168.10.100

Hi,
No, you can't use a tunnel interface to register media resources as SCCP is not aware of that type of interfce just as with the VRF.

Tere.

Yes it seems that Tunnel interface cannot be used with SCCP. I'm searching for a document now to show to my client. If you have found it in the past or know that this statement exists in any document please share . Until now I've found this: http://goo.gl/d0Mqz : "Interface type that the SCCP application uses to register with Cisco CallManager. The type can be an interface address or a virtual-interface address such as Ethernet." :/
If I find something more specific I'll post it.
