I have 2 phones (7965) for an office. Both phones have a separate extension (e.g. phone 1 - 5401, phone 2 - 5402). Both phones also have Directory Number (5400). They both get MWI when someone leaves a message on their own extensions (5401 and 5402). However, then someone calls 5400 (2nd DN on their phone), MWI does not come on. As far as I know, it used to.
Any idea what could be wrong?
I have another set of phone with similar configuration with 2 DN and MWI work fine on those.

did you set up an alternate extension in cuc for these phones so they receive VM in the same VM/user account for 2 different extensions?

I have 2 phones with their own extension number. I added a DN (5400) to both of these phones. Is there something else I need to do? MWI used to work according to the two people. I'm new to Cisco IP stuff. Any help is appreciated.
