MGCP application high utalization on cisco router

                   Hi All,

I am facing issue with MGCP application high utalization on cisco router it is showing 67% in 5 min. there are for analog lines are connected on router and no PRI configured on this router

How can i resolve this issue .

1 restart router is one option ......tell me other options pz see attached file.

Which ios version are you running.

Have you tryed with a no mgcp to shut the mgcp and see if the cpu goes ok?

I was trying to check any issue related to this IOS but could not find any .

Can u please try upgrading the IOS to 15.0(1)M10 during maintenance hours and check?

we have one backup router same as it is configration and also in production ..but there is no such type of issue..

so please explain  why we need  upgrading the IOS to 15.0(1)M10

Hi Prashant,

the only idea to do upgrade was to,  since u are running the old IOS in maintenance delpoyment modea nd fater that many releases have come.

can u configure process cpu statistics limit entry-percentage number [size seconds] with percentage as 40 and size as 300 and then run the command show process cpu history table if we can help u further.
