MGCP outbound calls are not getting connected

Hi All,

We have a MGCP gateway with a T1 trunk, Sometime the outbound calls will stop working and the incoming will work the same time. when we are dialing the digits we are getting fast busy tone. If we reset the MGCP gateway from CUCM, it will start working. Earlier we are getting this issue once in a month or quarter but now it's happening everyday. When we are checking for real time call logs in RTMT it's not showing any logs in RTMT or in CDR but I have enabled MGCP debug on gateway and Call manger SDL logs and found that we are getting 500 unknown end point error.

Also while I am checking the sh ip int brief, It only listing few T1 controller logical ports. Ports from 14 to 22 are not coming.

Can any one suggest any fix for the issue.

You only have PRI time slots configured for 1-14, so how can you expect the ports to show 14 and above?

Can you share the output of show controller t1? I need to see if there are any errors.

FYI; As of now I have reset the gateway and calls are working, but from my last 1 week experience on this issue, it will go down in few hours.

Update : Now again outbound calls are not working. But incoming is working.

I can see errors on the T1 controller, which could be due to ISP issues or clocking configurations.

If such errors exist, I’ve seen similar behavior with other customers. I would recommend ensuring the controller is error-free.
