We are trying to add a new audio source to CallManager 4.2(3) by dropping it into the DropMOHAudioSourceFileHere folder. But the conversion never takes place. We activated the MOH Audio Translator service, reset the server and it still won't perform the conversion.

are you doing a copy-paste of the file? or just grabbing the file and moving it?
you should be doing the 1st option

Just a thought can you tell me what audio source format it is before you put it into the directory?

Have you checked the event viewer to see if you are receiving any errors?

Yes, we tried copy-paste of lavenderskies.wav and it still doesn't work. A different wav file did, so
it appears there is something wrong with the
lavenderskies.wav. We found out that it came from a CCM 3.0 installation CD.

Yes, just checked the event viewer and don't see any errors related to the file conversion.

We believe it is a wav file from the Cisco CD (lavenderskies.wav, but are trying to find out exactly where the file came from and if it's in the correct format...

Try a different wav file to rule out the conversion process.

Yes, another file worked without a problem. Following that I tried another copy/paste (as opposed to drag and drop) and the conversion worked! Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
