MOH is not working in CUCM

Hi,

  I uploaded the .wav file to CUCM 10.5 with correct format and Configure MOH server with multicast,activated audio source with newly uploaded file . But on putting hold on pone it is getting normal beep.I restart the service ipmsa and tftp also

 

Please suggest me I need to do any extra to activate MOH.

Hi Saleem,

Beep means some configuration issue on cucm. Apart from checking MRGL settings on phones can you check if the region settings for MOH server are g711 with all devices and gateways.

Did you assign the new Audio Source to the phones or set it to be the default in Service Parameters?

Please note that you need to enable multicast at various pages;

- Audio source file

- MoH server page

- MRG

In addition;

- max-hop field should not exceed the routers in between MoH server and holdee.

- You have correct desired region settings between device pool of MoH server and holdee. And MoH server is enabled with respective codec.

- If you are using MoH from router's flash, dial-peer must allow G.711 codec.

 

 

I am checking for on-net calls.Multicast is enabled.I configured MRGL on device pool.
