MWI Light does not come up.

Hello,

I have cucm 8.5 integrated with unity onnetion 8.6.

For some reason, when i have voiemail, i dont see any MWI light on the handset. The Voicmail works very well but the MWI light does not come up.

Any help will be highly appreiated.

What type of integration do you have? SIP or SCCP?

Does the CSS on your unity connection ports have access to the MWI Extension Partition?

Has the voicemail ever worked in the past?  If so, try reseting the unity message waiting light indicator.  You could also try to delete and add the MWI indicator back again in the unity mailbox. 

Sometimes you need to kick cucm and connection to make it work.
