This is a new cisco phone. I have checked it is running MMP software.
There is no administrator here so there is no way to get passed this ?

What phone system are you intending to use the device with?

You need to access the web page of the phone and configure it if you bought this phone to register with a SIP provider. If you are using Webex, get the activation code from Webex.

I cannot see the phone on the IP address list of the router. Therefore I cant user a browser
The only thing the phone will let me do is go into settings. Under settings it is not obvious whether it has even been allocated an IP address. No IP address is shown. I am tempted to reset to factory settings

I have found the IP address. I have configured the phone and now it works. It no longer asks for the activation code.
