need help configuring a sip phone (polycom ip310)

I run cucm 7.0 and run a 100 or  so  sscp 7941's, as a test i need to configure one sip extension.

Either convert the existing sccp phone to Sip through BAT using the option - Migrating sccp to sip. Or configure the service parameter - Auto registeration protocol to be SIP and let the new 7941 sccp phone to auto register.

My question was I have new polycomm phone it needs to be configured as a sip extension as a test, the rest of my phones are 7942 sccp phones

This is a little bit more complictaed than it seems and requires quite a bit of "tweaking". Look into the following link and try it out. Let me know if it works.
