I would like some help trying to figure this out properly
We have multiple sites so for instance Site A and B and both have gateways and both at different geographical locations
we have certain numbers which are local to site B so they would be dialed 355-5555 but would need to be dialed as long distance from site A's gateway 1-366-355-5555. what they want is to be able to dial 355-5555 and have it automaticaly failover to site A and dial 1-366-355-5555 if site B's trunks are all in use. I am trying to wrap my head around this but cant seem to do so.

Do all the digit manipulation at the RL level for this to happen, add/remove digits as necessary.

Have Site B Route List have Site A Route Group as backup and prefix appropriate digits to send call to Site A gateway.
Site B Route List will have the follow for example:
- Site B Route Group
- Site A Route Group with Prefix 1 366
Also make sure "stop routing on unallocated number flag" service parameter is set to false.
With this approach, even when site B trunks are all in use, users will be unaware and won't have to change their dialing habit.
