need same help i am new at ip phone just got a home lab i been working on getting the cisco ip phone to work i got it to get a ip from the DHCP it keeps saying phone Unprovisioned?
i'm using
CISCO 2811 Router (c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.124-15.t1.bin)
CISCO 3550 switch with inline power (c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-44.SE6.bin)
CISCO 7940 ip phones firmware (POS3-8-12-00)
i got it to work int packet tracker but live can't can someone please help?

Hi,
Just wondering if your phones are indeed SCCP firmware and not SIP.
If it is SIP, then you need the tftp service configured on the router along with the appropriate firmware files on the flash

Hello
Can you please send the phone status message. Un provisioned error comes with SIP firmware normally.
Configuration seems fine ,try to ping the phone IPs from CME interface,

Your configuration is for SCCP not for SIP. If you need this 7940 to register as SIP phone you need to add SIP configuration.
