I have a Cisco IP Communicator 7.0.6.0 on my laptop connected to a Netgate at my home. The Netgate connects via vpn to the CUCM 6.1 at remote site and it is registered as well. The problem i face is that there is No dial tone on my CIPC, but i am still able to dial the called party number and there is no RTP established either. I get a busy tone instead of Dial tone. This has never happened before. I always used to connect this way and it used to work fine, but recently i changed the DN on my CIPC and this issue started.
Any Advice ?

Hi Lakshmi,
Is the phone actually registered to CUCM? Are you running a firewall, ex. Windows Firewall? Make sure you're allowing CIPC through the firewall.

Yes, the phone is registered to the CUCM and the windows firewall does allow CIPC through and it has worked earlier when i had registered to the same CUCM with a different DN..
Now- after i changed the DN this issue is occuring..

CSS on the phone/line seem appropriate as well..
