Hello,
CUCM release :10.5
When we make PSTN outgoing calls from the IP phone, we cannot hear the ringback at our end. The calls rings at other end and when the person receives the call he hears his own voice when he speaks. Its complete silence at our end. This issue happens for intermittent calls.
We have one publisher and 3 subscribers which are at multiple locations. This issue has been reported only at one location.
Any assistance is appreciated.
Thanks!!

Hello Carlo,
We are using MGCP between VG and CUCM.
Just wanted to know if this can be caused due to shortage of DSP resources??
If yes, then how do we conclude the same.
Thanks!!
Rgds,
Rohit

Hi,
During a bad call, if you double press on the help button of the phone '?', can you check if RX/TX counters are increasing.

Hi,
It sounds to be that you have a routing problem between MGCP gateway and phones. Signaling path is working but media path isn't.
During faulty call, please share the output of 'sh voip rtp conn' and 'sh call active voice br'. Indicate the call number as well.
The 'show voip rtp conn' output will give the IPs of both call parties (gateway and phone). Try to ping the phone IP from the gateway using ping x.x.x.x source y.y.y.y
