Hello,

I have the following setup.

ITSP <---> CUBE (4321) <---> CUCM.

I am on the initial setup and trying to register CUBE with ITSP. However when I give the sip-ua commands i dont see any SIP messages for register. Instead I am getting the following output from debug ccsip all.

Jul 16 10:27:16.062: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Info/notify/262144/ccsip_register_cred_user: Sending msg type 2 to register process from parser for user +30XXXXXXXXXX

On show process | i CCSIP_SPI i dont see any process for CCSIP_SPI_CONTROL.

I have tried multiple IOS.

I used the same configuration on a 881 and it registered with the ITSP at once.

Any idea what I am missing?

Attached the configuration.

Regards,

Just to update. I have opened TAC and it seems that you need to create a dial-peer first, for the CCSIP_SPI_CONTROL service to come up and then proceed with the sip-ua configuration.

Interesting. What IOS have you tried ? Upgrade to the latest version, 16.8

Hi Nipun,

I have used 16.03.06,16.06.04, 16.07.02 which are the recommended and also i think it came with 16.04.02. As per your suggestion i just tried 16.8 but still getting the same debug output.

Regards,

Can you try removing you SIP-UA config and re-configuring it ? It has helped me in the past.

Hi Abhay,

I have done that several times but no luck.

Regards

Have you tried:

Debug ccsip non-call

Or

Debug ccsip all

Just a thought.

Just to update. I have opened TAC and it seems that you need to create a dial-peer first, for the CCSIP_SPI_CONTROL service to come up and then proceed with the sip-ua configuration.

What you need is your SIP bind statement and ideally you will add that to your dial-peer. What is happening is that your gateway cant connect to the ITSP IP address because its trying to originate the SIP request from a wrong interface due to the fact you do not have the correct SP bind statement. I just resolved similar issue for a colleague at work
