By default, the phones get their ringtones & wallpapers (and the appropriate List.xml files) from the CUCM TFTP servers. Is there a way to configure a device so that it gets these files from somewhere else? I'm running CUCM 11.5(1)
Thanks,

Hi Gordon,
You may use the IP Phone Designer app as shown in the following video

I thought IP Phone Designer was no longer supported by Cisco?

It went out of support in 2014 but is still available for download

There was no replacement tool released though and most likely you need a third party tool, you may check the following post as well

Hi Gordon,
Under Enterprise Parameters Configuration configure either Both or external
A new device configuration parameter will be added to control whether the phone uses the services provisioned in the configuration file (Internal) or the services received from the URLs (External URLs) or both. This parameter is required for backward-compatibility with 3rd-party provisioning servers mainly, the ability to disable the new provisioning mechanism so that the phone only presents those services coming from the Services URL.
This is a required field.
Default: Internal |

But that's for the Services list, and not the Wallpaper/Ringtones list. (Unless I'm missing something...) GTG

See below if that helps

But it would not be TAC supported.

Not AFAIK, at least not out of the box, as they're all hard coded to look at the folder that matches the screen size for them, in the TFTP where they're pointing to.
Even the config from CUCM for the background assumes that.
