I am having an issue where one way audio is introduced immediately inbound to one of our DMVPN spokes. Audio is two way only from a 9971 to 9971 using g722, routing the exact same way as the affected phones -- 79XX. Note when a 794X calls inbound to the single 9971, the phones negotiate g722.. one-way audio.
We have many other locations with the exact same configuration and firmware (Cisco 2801 running Version 12.4(24)T8). h232 gateway. No configuration changes were made when this issue became known.
Please provide advice on any plausible problems.
Thank you,

Hi, without looking at the logs and the topology all i can say is:
1) make sure no DSP is invoked in the 79XX's case.
2) if it is invoked, make sure there is connectivity from DSP to both the end points. firewall might be blocking the RTP across.
3) capture the logs from CUCM and see what are the two parties trying to negotiate at.
