Outbound CLID in MGCP fallback SRST with SCCP and SIP phones

Hello everyone,

Need some assistance.  We have a remote office hosted off CUCM 11.5.  The remote office is serviced by and ISR MGCP gateway configured with SRST to support both SCCP and SIP phones.  Everything is working fine when SRST kicks in.  Both SCCP and SIP phones are able register with SRST and process calls.  The issue is that calls from SIP phones to the PSTN will only present their 4 digit DN assigned instead of the 10 digit Outbound Mask defined in CUCM.  In contrast, outbound calls from SCCP phones in SRST do present their full 10 digit Outbound Mask, as defined in CUCM.

We've tried using the: clid network-number command on the dial-peer built to facilitate egress/ingress via our PRI but we had undesired results.  This locked the CLID to the number we inputted on all PSTN calls whether in or out.

Any ideas on how we can correct the outbound CLID for 8841 SIP phones in SRST so they present their own full 10 just as their SCCP counterparts do?

Thanks for your help!

John

Update:
In case it is helpful for anyone else. We solved the issue by building 2 dial peers. The first facilitates Inbound PSTN calls via the PRI. The second facilitates Outbound PSTN calls via our PRI. We then applied the clid network-number 213-555-0000 (example) command on the second dial peer and this produced an acceptable result.

Inbound calls from the PSTN via our PRI are presenting both CLID and CNAM to both our SCCP and SIP phones. Calls to the PSTN via the PRI, whether originating from the SCCP or SIP phones, are presenting the number applied using the clid network-number command.

It would be better to present individual DIDs on calls from SIP phones. as the SCCP phones do, but this satisfies our requirement during a short lived SRST condition.

Any helpful input welcome!

You need to configure translation rules on the SRST GW to fix this.
