Hi all,
We recently implemented a new call manager and unity solution and are trying to get overhead paging to work with ATA186 and a Bogen Tam B device. My question is how do I interface between the ATA and the Bogen. It references Tip and Ring but I'm not sure how to physically connect the devices. Does anyone have any experience setting this up that could pass along some info?
Thanks in advance.

I don't think it was that important for the tip/ring to be exact, I've wired it both ways (with a vg248 mind you) and things work fine. Basically, you want the two wires (green/red) to be terminated on the Bogen t/r posts. You can do this any number of ways, by plugging in a line cord stripping one end and connecting to the post. You could could also get a full line cord plug one into the ATA another into a wall mount jack and then punch down from the jack into the Bogen.
Here's a graphic that might help:

Thanks for the info, I was leaning towards doing what you are saying, but it's nice to get confirmation. Thanks again.
