I am looking for a way to add a pause in a dial string that is sent from CUCM. I want to be able to send a call to a number with a menu and have all of the digits for the options in the menu sent with the number. Does anyone know of any wildcards or a way to pause the dial string? Basically what I am trying to accomplish is.....we have a paging system at the hospital and when the speed dial for a particular doctor is called such as *519, we want the call to go to a paging system with the pager number attached in the dial string followed by # so that the nurses and receptionsists do not have to remember every doctor's pager. Are there any solutions to making this work?

Unfortunately CUCM doesn't offer the ability add pauses to dial strings.
Unity does offer the a ability to use a comma , as a 1 second delay

I wrote a TCL/IVR script that allows dialing with pauses.
The requisite is to use H.323 in the gateway, it does not work with MGCP.
To acquire the script, contact me at the address present in my profile.
