PCD Upgrading 8.5.1 to 11.5 Failed

Dear All,

We are performing upgrade and migrate from version 8.5.1.10000-26  to 11.5(SU2) using PCD direct upgrade. During post installation i am getting

error IPM|Internal Error, File:ipm.c:3087, Function: ipmWaitForChild(), Command "/opt/cisco/install/bin/pmNormalizeGeneric /etc/opt/cisco/install/component_install_cmd_list" has exceeded timed threshold of 3600 seconds|

UPGRADE and MIGRATION are different things, and are not interchangeable terms.

As PCD can only upgrade 8.6 and above, I'll assume this is really a migration.

We are doing a migration from 8.5.1 to 11.5 (box to box migration) (VM to VM).

I sucessfully migrated to newer version, but i did only one change in VM added the NTP setting and synchroized the correct time. due to this issue initially got failed?
