A 7962 goes into DND mode periodically. This phone doesn't have any DND option in the softkey or phone templates. So, they can not be turning it on from the phone, even by accident. I have to go in and uncheck the Do Not Disturb box on the phone admin page, reset the phone and it's good. Is there any bugs related to something like that? Or, is someone making config changes and not saying anything? Other users, with the exact configuration, in the same office, have no problems with DND. CUCM ver 6.1.5.
I had a problem at one point where CUPC would randomly turn on DND on the phones. I think we ended up upgrading I believe CUCM to 7.x and it went away.
Other places to check on: EM or CCM User Page.
- Updating DND from EM logged in phone. Note that in this case, if a user logged into a phone updates DND status, it would affect all the devices where this user profile is being used. - Updating DND status from CCM Admin page or thru CCM user page.
Just thought you might want to see this bug. It doesn't show 6.1(5) in the
IP Phones go in and out of DND without user intervention.
IP Phones were registered with a different node at some point.
Restart the ccm service on the node that has the abandoned PublishEPA's
7.0(2.21012.1), 6.1(4.1000.10), 6.1(3.9999.1)

Can anyone clarify me? what should happen if i Keep any CE Endpoint in DND Mode and Restart.(Not Factory Reset)
According to my opinion it should be in DND mode when it gets restarted. as thats how our normal Cell Phones or Mobile Phones work.
