Hi All,
I have a customer that is migrating their Cisco 7900 series phones with a number of models to call manager 10.5. I have reached out to partner helpline and they have advised that all 7900 series phone are compatible according to this link http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/vtgsca/VTGServlet. But I am looking at this link http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/uc_system/unified/communications/system/versions/IPTMtrix.html and I am not seeing all the models. Can you confirm if these are not compatible.
Models are
1. 7911
2. 7912
3. 7940
4. 7941
5. 7942
6. 7960
7. 7936

Cisco won't provide support for EOL phones, but in general they are still available as an option.

I did take a look at a 10.5 server and as I suspected all of those phones are available as an option.

beyond what has been said by Brandon Pierce and Aman Soi.
Whether a phone is supported or not really doesn’t depend on the CUCM version, till now, no phone has been removed from the drop down list of the CUCM Administration page.
Whether they’re “supported” with a certain CUCM version or not, depends on the phone model and whether it has reached the EOL ... in other words ...you can go ahead and configure it and use the features that the last software release for it allows you to. If you have a problem that is related to the firmware, or want to use new features which would require a firmware upgrade, we won’t have assistance from Cisco.
Hope this helps.
