I have a 7940 phone, that I am using is stuck on IP Config every time I try and boot it up.. the real problem is that when I try and push the network settings button nothing happens.. The number buttons work to to a factory reset, am I missing something or is the phone faulty? I have reset the phone to factory specs ( Holding the # when starting and choosing no ) and plugged into a DHCP server still nothing!!!!!
The phone justs stays at configuring IP
Any Ideas?? Any Help would be greatly appreciated..

I have seen this when the network switchport we plugged into did not have the voice VLAN configured properly on it.
Have you plugged it in where you currently have a working phone and vice versa?

Hi Chris,
I've now the same problem you have had in 2007: I'm wondering if and how you resolved it...Can you reply to me please?
Thanks a lot,
Andrea
