Hi , we're looking to upgrade our estate from 10.5 to 11.5. When I look into PLM I notice that all the licences have a (10.x) next to them.
My question is does a CUWL (10.x) licence for example work with a 11.5 CUCM.I'm guessing not maybe but as a licence is a licence I was hoping that it would just work?

Hi,
You are right. The licenses need to show 11.x next to them. You need to migrate the 10.x licenses to 11.x by contacting the licensing team and install the new license file provided by them.

Hi,
once the call manager is upgraded successfully to 11.X , you would get grace period of 60 days to generate perpetual licenses.
You need to generate PLM request file from CUCM 11 and send this file to licensing@cisco.com to get permanent lic file.
