PolyCom IP 3000 and CME/UC5xx

I have a customer that we are planning to migrate to either a CME or a UC560 platform.

They have a PolyCom SoundStation IP 3000 that they are using today and they would like to continue to use it.

I found a thread back in 2003 that said you could not have the IP3000 register to a CCM 5.x because it is an H.323 device, But should we be able to do it today?

If anyone has done this, I would like to know what the pitfalls or problems  or limitations might be.

H.323 devices can;t be registered, but you can use them with dial-peers and shouls work.

Anyway the cost of one conference phone is minimal compared to the entire system.
