Ports on a VG-450 will not register

Good afternoon-

We have just installed a Vg-450. When we create a POTS line and add the config, it will not register until we reset the entire gateway. After that the port registers and functions correctly.

Are we missing something?

I assume that you register the VG with a CUCM, Can we know  the protocol used. And could you share your VG configuration.

We are using MGCP.

I am not allowed to send the configuration. I can't continue with this resource.

With MGCP I think that you would need to reset the gateway once you complete the configuration of the directory number(s). As you say that it is working after this I’m going to say that this is working as intended.
