Hello everyone,

running CM8.5 with Windows 2003 domain and LDAP already integrated what additional (if any) AD accounts are needed to roll out Cisco Presence Server 8.x?

Thanks in advance!  All replies rated.

CUPS syncs via AXL to CUCM PUB to get the licensed users.

You might only need a read-only user to create the LDAP profile for searches (if you don't already have one for the CUCM LDAP integration or do not want to use the same one)

Hi

CUPS would expect you to configure a user for LDAP to be used by CUPC. A (usually seperate) user with privileges to Exchange is also used for calendar presence if you want to enable that feature.

It really depends on:

a) whether you want calendar presence will determine whether you need a privileged user for that

b) what clients you will use will determine what LDAP user you need. e.g. JfW can use EDI which uses the user's credentials, Jabber for iPhone can be configured to use the users creds etc.
