hi I have a router 2900 CME VERSION 12.0 I have a problem with the presence on the 7975 ip phones registered in SIP the problem is that when I pick up the handset I have when I put the DND of the ip phone the other phones do not see the presence on the buttons, only when it does the call the presence can be seen on the buttons of the ip telephone. then I have other phones registered in SCCP the presence works perfectly for me. how can i do for sip ip phones.

Start with sharing your configuration from the router that you run CME on. Without any information to go with we cannot provide you any advice quality advice as it would purely be based upon speculation and guesswork.

A few things, although not directly related to your question. Why do you have different VLANs for the SCCP and SIP phones? That’s not necessary or recommended. Also you don’t need to use usernames/passwords on the SIP phones and this command is not needed “authenticate register”. What version of IOS are you using?

I am using CME VERSION 12.0

Thank you, but that’s not what I asked. What version of IOS do you use?

Response Signature

IOS version 15.7
