Hello!
We have an On-Premise CUPS Server deployment. Version 9.1.
Overall its working fine, but we have one problem.
For the people that I have in my buddy list, all is working fine. I always get the right status (Away, On the Phone, Offline and so on).
Problem is this does not work when I perform a search for a User.
I can't have all people in the organisation in my buddy list, so from time to time I search for someone that I want to communicate with.
Now the Jabber Client does not show the status for that person in the search results. The Status is always grey.
As soon as I add that person to my buddy list I can see the right status.
Anyone having an idea?
Thanks

what version of jabber client are you using ?
what is your UserID linked to ?
when doing a search the grey contact - for some reason - does not have the Presence Domain suffix added to the UserID
I have had this problem too, I'm trying to remember the root cause...
