Hi Marco,
What type of problem do you have? This might be a hardware issue, does this happen with more than 2 phones? If you think this is a hardware problem you might need to open a TAC case for an RMA.
Regards,
Tere.

Hi Marco,
I just wanted to add a note to the good info from Tere (+5 "T").
This is a very common problem that has plagued these models of IP phones for years. Here is a an old thread with some more recent comments that discuss the repair/replacement of many of the "hookswitch" parts that cause these issues;
https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/10857716/7961-onoff-hook-issue
The parts are available for a fairly reasonable cost @ many suppliers. Here's one example that I found with a quick Google search;

If you search YouTube you will even find some step-by-step videos.
Cheers!
Rob

More over, there are so many eBay based resellers selling 7900s that, it may in fact be easier and cheaper to replace the phones than the individual switch.
