Ya, Something that runs on the PC. I thought the CUCM native monitoring used a monitor CSS on the "supervisor's" phone and the RTP was between both phones.
This is one thing that drives me crazy about Cisco. Why put a monitor function into CUCM, with RTP between two phones, and friggin need a third party app to initiate.
Ridiculous if you ask me. But, if you are volunteering, I will use it
One consideration would be control....how to ensure the program doesn't allow for unauthorized monitoring. Perhaps there would be an application user that must control the target phones. Then you could not associate the CEO's phone, to prevent that phone from being monitored.?
