Proxy Phone using 871W ezVPN connection

We currently have a client that has a 7970 phone that's attached to a 871W using ezVPN to establish the VPN connection back to the Call Manager.  He wants to move from Time Warner Cable to AT&T's U-verse.

The questions are:

1.  Can this setup work with AT&T's U-verse.  I don't know much about it.

2.  If so will I need to reconfigure how the 871W establish's the VPN connection?

Below are the configurations on the 871 that matters:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

crypto ipsec client ezvpn **VPN Name**

connect auto

group **VPN Name**Group1 key **KEY**

mode client

peer **IP Address**

acl 100

username **Username** password **Password**

xauth userid mode local

interface FastEthernet4

ip address dhcp

no ip redirects

no ip unreachables

no ip proxy-arp

ip flow ingress

ip nat outside

ip virtual-reassembly

no ip route-cache cef

duplex auto

speed auto

no cdp enable

crypto ipsec client ezvpn **VPN Name**

interface BVI2

description ***VPN Name**-VOIP-Interface*

ip address 10.10.11.1 255.255.255.0

no ip redirects

no ip unreachables

no ip proxy-arp

ip flow ingress

ip nat inside

ip virtual-reassembly

crypto ipsec client ezvpn **VPN Name** inside

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I don't think you have to reconfigure anything. This is not (fortunately) phone proxy.

Sometime on dynamic address routers, it's useful to configure DDNS, so from outside, you know always "where" are they.

Yah I probably should have said remote phone instead of proxy phone.  In the past we had performance issues using DSL with this setup.  So we have been careful to make sure that the VPN connection is through cable.

I have many, many remote phones all over the world using all kinds of access technologies (and no I'm not Skype).

All do work great

Thanks for the nice rating, and good luck!
