If possible, I ask you to help in solving the problem:
The organization has several branches distributed throughout the country. Each branch has its own connection to the PSTN.
It is planned to connect all branches through SME. To reduce the number of TEHO configurations, it is planned that each branch will advertise its available route-patterns through ILS.
If for some reason the call for this route (learned through ILS) fails, then the call should be redirected through the local gateway of the branch from which the call was initiated.
As I understand it, the "Use Pattern as PSTN Failover Number" function should solve this problem when setting up the ILS,TEHO,AARAdvertised Pattern in GDPR.
For testing, the stand was deployed in accordance with the scheme (in the appendix).
During normal operation, calls from 5555 to 2003 are routed along the path 5555-> HQ -> SME -> SB -> SB_GW -> 2003.
If you break the SIP trunk HQ <-> SME (for example, change the IP address), then the call is rerouted using the AAR:
5555 -> HQ -> HQ_GW -> 2003.
However, if you break something further down the path, for example, SIP trunk SME <-> SB, then the call does not pass with reason 404 (not Found).

Have a look at the PSTN failover section in this document from Johannes Krohn. He covers what you'd need to think of for this to work when SME is in the mix.
