Hi All,

I currently have a customer that is having some trouble calling a into there Cisco IPT system. When an external users calls into the system e.g.456-1234. Some would reach the operator (which is correct) while others would only keep hearing the phone ringing.

The current setup is a follows:

     CUCM 7.1

Cisco 2811 IOS 12.4T running MGCP

     12 Analog Lines.

     Debugs Enabled

Debug voice ccapi inout, vpm signal and mgcp errors.

Telco has verify that the numbers is in a hunt-group

I've notice that when the first caller calls the number (456-1234) it hits the FXO(0/0/0) which is correct port. I get info coming into the router which is correct but when a second user calls the number (456-1234) there hear the phone ringing and I'm not seeing any debug info coming into the router.

Need some help on this. I still believe that the Telco does not have this number in the trunk-group.

Are there anything else I can try?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Adrian

First of all, such setups are much, much better done with ISDN PRI rather than analog lines.

Anyway, if multiple calls to telco hunt-group don't hit the router, just invite them on premises and challenge them to show is that working with a buttset.
