PVDM2/Conference Capacity Question

A PVDM2-48 module has 3 DSP's on it.  Each DSP can accomodate (2) 32-party conferences.  If I configure the dspfarm with a maximum of 32 parties per conference and a maximum of 6 sessions, does that mean that no matter how many parties are in a conference, I'll only be able to have 6 active conferences?  Or, if there are only 8 parties in a conference, can I have 24 conferences?  Is reducing the maximum participants the only way to increase the number of available conferences?

Hi Jordan,

With Conferencing, 6 sessions means exactly that

When you configure the max-particpants @ number "X" this means that

the conference reserves this capacity "X" for each session. Reducing the

max-participants number is the only way to increase the max-sessions

as you nicely noted.

Cheers!
