Does anybody know where all this information on the CONNECT and ALERTING stages of a call set up is coming from and what its for:

As you can see we get a message back from the Swedish Telco telling us that its all discarded.
This is MGCP E1 trunk to a Swedish carrier

Hi,
Yes the switch complains about the strange stuff but the calls is completed.
If you were to use H.323 you could control which IE are sent to the switch.
But, it seems it makes no difference.

Thanks for the message but im afraid H323 is not an option. Im concerned about these IE elements, we have upto 40 E1 all configured exactly the same but these paticular links are the only one sending this info. They've both also crashed twice in the last 24 hours which I why I want to get to the bottom of why and by what they are being sent..
