"show call history voice compact" is not coming up..

May be a silly question..

I have a Cisco 3845 router used as a toll bypass router connected to a PBX via ISDN PRI trunk. When I do

"show call history voice compact " I dont find any call history. How do I enable that ? Is it possible to push all those  call details to a syslog server ?

Hello Rav,

to enable local call-history use:

enable

configure terminal

dial-control-mib retain-timer [minutes]

dial-control-mib max-size [number of entries]

to forward call-details to a syslog-server use:

gw-accounting syslog

With the latter I asume you now generic logging details and steps to configure it.
