"speed dial service" in Israel doesn't work

Does anyone know about how to use "speed dial service" in Israel?

Speed dial serivce is like an abbrevation number which has *XXXX(star and 4 digits).
It is used by companies to make it easy for customer to contact them.

I would like to use Speed dial service, but it doesn't work.

I have the following configuration.

<IP Phone>----<CUCM>-(H323)--<ISR>---(ISDN E1)--<Telco>

When a call was made , I got output of "debug isdn q931" as below.

"*2722" is the speed dial number of Avis(Car Rental office)

Is there something wrong?  Should additional configuration be needed to work?

I wonder it is needed to trasnform *XXXX into actual number before sending.

2722 needs to be transformed to a number which your Service provider can accept and route, normally it is the complete number. Please transform it to the actual number on CUCM itself using a Translation pattern or on the Route List / Route group settings using Prefix settings. For an h323 gateway you can use translation rules on the gateway to convert it to the actual destination number.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I found that I needed to replace the * with 1222 before sending to telco.

So, I have done that transformation on CUCM, it works.
